openSUSE as a Server: A Frank and Honest Review
For years, the “What’s the best server OS?” debate has been dominated by the usual suspects: Ubuntu Server, CentOS (and its successors), and Debian. As a sysadmin who loves to tinker, I decided to step off the beaten path and give openSUSE a serious try in a production-like environment. After several months of running everything from web servers to home lab applications, I’ve formed some strong opinions.
